How it works

Start privately, then see each next step.

When GP bookings open, choose your GP and time, prepare privately, then sign in and pay. Join from Appointments in your patient portal. New GP bookings and payments are not open yet.

Your Everyday GP visit

  1. Choose your GP and time

    Browse approved doctors and choose an available consultation time. The planned launch offer is a 15-minute Standard video appointment at R349 inclusive.

  2. Help your GP prepare

    Answer a few questions about your concern, medicines and allergies. You do not need to repeat a full medical history.

  3. Sign in and pay

    Verify your email, review your saved appointment details and pay the total shown. Payment confirms your time; an unpaid hold lasts ten minutes.

  4. Join from Appointments

    Open your patient portal to check in and join the video call. Your GP decides what care is appropriate and shares a signed summary afterwards.

    If online care may fit, you see the amount and what shaped it before you pay.

  4. Labs where needed

    Some people need lab checks before review can continue. If you do, the private assessment explains why.

  5. Clinician review

    A South African clinician reviews your context and decides what, if anything, is clinically appropriate.

  6. Support after review

    If review supports the next step, Cendara coordinates portal support and delivery support where appropriate.
